This virtual exhibition brings together the work of five Toronto street photographers who each approached the city’s Khalsa Day celebration with a distinct visual voice. Moving beyond simple documentation, their images reveal different rhythms of the same public moment — gesture, colour, crowd, movement, and quiet details that often pass unnoticed. Seen together, these photographs form a layered portrait of Toronto: celebratory, diverse, and deeply alive in the street. Each photographer offers a personal interpretation, yet all share a sensitivity to timing, atmosphere, and human presence. This exhibition invites viewers to experience the city not only as event, but as lived encounter.
